The importance of vitamin D. I had that tested recently and I must comment on what I learned. Firstly your body has a low level of vitamin D but without a  it of a top up from some sun. My test results showed that I was at 20 where optimal value should be over 50 and heading for the 70 mark. So I took to sunbathing a bit using accuweather app which told me what intensity the UV is at. Choosing low and moderate UV conditions I managed over a period of 2 weeks to get some sort of a tan. Then I went to have my vitamin D tested again it had raised to 70. I was very pleased at how this simple this addition to my male menopause regime  improved my general sense of well being.
